Mass Energy is pleased to be working with the Providers’ Council as an endorsed vendor to offer discounted heating oil service for both organizational use and for employees for their personal home use.

Information for Employees of Providers’ Council Member Agencies
If you live in Mass Energy’s service area, you can sign up for discounts for your home heating oil. Mass Energy residential customers can save up to 15-30 cents per gallon compared to the state average.
As an added benefit, every employee of an Providers’ Council Member organization who joins the Mass Energy program by the end of February will be entered into a drawing for $100 in free oil! There’s a winner chosen monthly from December to February, so sign up now!
How do residential members join?
- Go to our secure Heating Oil Program join page
- Select “MCHSP/Providers Council ” in the box asking “How did you learn about Mass Energy?”. You will be automatically entered in the monthly drawing for December 2007, January 2008, and February 2008.
- Employees need to enter the name of their employer in the field marked “Detail”
- To join through mail give our office a call at 617-524-3950 with your address and we can mail you an application.

Information for Agencies: The Mass Energy Advantage
When your organization joins Mass Energy your account will be assigned to a dealer who will agree to limited markup on the wholesale price. We will work with you to consolidate your oil services to one vendor – making billing and delivery easier for you and your staff.
Providers’ Council members in Mass Energy’s service area will have the enrollment fee waived, and qualify for discounted heating oil and service agreements. Providers’ Council member agencies pay nothing to join Mass Energy and can expect to pay 10-20 cents less per gallon than Mass Energy's already reduced prices.
How does an Agency join?
Easy! First, check our communities serviced list to make sure that your agency's delivery sites are located in Mass Energy’s service territory.
Second, simply fill out our Non-Profit Membership Form. Remember, by being a Providers’ Council organization, the membership fee normally charged by Mass Energy is waived.
